To calculate the average monthly rent, we used Zillow,, Trulia, Realtor, and Bozzuto to acquire publicly available data. When necessary, we added up 5 geographically dispersed properties within a state and calculated the average monthly rent across studio, 1 bedroom, 2-bedroom, 3 bedroom, and 4 bedroom apartments.

Bozzuto Apartment Fees: Parking, Amenities, & Application

Apart from the monthly rent, it is important to note the other fees associated with Bozzuto Properties. To start, to fully maximize the benefits offered by Bozzuto, you will be charged a monthly parking fee, an annual amenity fee, and an application fee.

How Much is the Bozzuto Apartment Application Fee?

  • Average Application Fee: $50

While it varies from property to property, the average application fee is $50. Compared to other rental management companies, this is on the low end of the spectrum.

Moreover, Bozzuto does run a credit check. This is a classic risk mitigation tactic and a way to make sure you will be able to pay off the monthly rent and other associated costs.

Does Bozzuto Charge for Parking?

  • Average Monthly Parking Fee: $65 – $200

Again, this will vary from property to property and whether Bozzuto is offering concessions. That said, the average monthly fee for parking ranges between $65 – $200. At each property, renters can either pay for a reserved or unreserved spot.

Obviously, the reserved spots will run you an additional $25 – $50/month, but you’ll be able to park closer to the elevators and avoid the treacherous walks during the winter and summer months.

Additionally, Bozzuto Apartment Garages are safe and secure. Most are caged in, and only residents can enter and use the parking garage. This is a nice feature if you live in Washington D.C., Los Angeles, New York City, Boston, or Baltimore.

Bozzuto Amenity Fees

Unfortunately, amenities are not included in the monthly rent. However, it is a one-time fee that ranges between $250 – $500.

Drawing on my personal experience, I paid a one-time $500 amenity fee. This allows me to access the lounges, business center, conference rooms, courtyard, social events, and the 24/7 Gym(s).

Again, depending on where you live and what is offered, the Bozzuto Amenity Fee will vary drastically. Some Apartments have rooftop lounges and pools, while others have massive exercise centers.

Ultimately, the decision is up to you whether you pay the amenity fee or not, but if you are trying to get the most out of living at a Bozzuto Apartment, then we strongly encourage you to do so.

What Are the Downsides to Living in Bozzuto Apartments?

While we have covered the benefits and perks of living in a Bozzuto Apartment, it would only be fair to discuss the (few) downsides.

Expensive Parking

I’ll be the first one to admit, the monthly parking fee is a bit aggressive. In my case, I pay $125/Month for parking.

It would be cheaper for me to use ParkMobile and find a nearby spot; however, these are not caged in or monitored by security cameras.

Strict Lease Agreements & Terms

Would they really be a property management company without strict lease agreements? Of course not. If you decide to move into a Bozzuto Apartment, you are in it for the long haul unless you are fine paying close to two months worth of rent to break the lease.

Relatively Small Apartments

Do not expect a large, lavish apartment depending on where you live and what complex you decide to move into.

For the most part, you’ll probably get a small room, decent-sized living room, full bathroom, walk-in closet, and a nice kitchen.

But if you are expecting a massive bedroom, two full-sized closets, and a waterfall shower, then look elsewhere.

Bozzuto Apartments are certainly not luxurious, but they also aren’t cheap. As a recent college graduate, my Bozzuto Apartment is exactly what I need.

Whether you are in a one-, two-, or three-bedroom apartment, they will all look the same. Apart from the physical layout and configuration, the appliances, cabinets, flooring, and tabletops are all the same. Don’t get me wrong, these apartments are nice, but they lack “character” and “flavor.”

The best way to describe Bozzuto Apartments is this: The communities as a whole all have their own unique identities, but the induvial apartments are dull. Maybe it’s just me being too nit-picky, but that is my two cents.

How Many Properties Does Bozzuto Manage?

Since its founding in 1988, Bozzuto has morphed into a real estate conglomerate that employs 2,700+ people, manages over 85,000+ residencies, and built/acquired over 50,000 homes and apartments.

Are Bozzuto Apartments and Communities Safe?

This is hands down the biggest factor you need to consider if you are thinking about renting an apartment. Your safety matters, and it certainly isn’t free or a right guaranteed. However, Bozzuto Communities and Apartments are safe to live in.

As we mentioned earlier, all communities and apartments have 24×7 concierges, caged-in garages, and security systems deployed throughout the complex.

These added features bode nicely if you live in a large metropolitan area known for crime. Not once have I ever felt unsafe or uncomfortable while living in a Bozzuto Apartment.

Are Bozzuto Apartments worth the Price?

In our opinion, Bozzuto Apartments are worth the price. Bozzuto Apartments come with awesome amenities, diverse neighbors, and employees who care.

Above all, Bozzuto Apartments are safe and quite fun to live at once you step out of your comfort zone and meet new people.

Bottom Line: Bozzuto Apartments

All in all, Bozzuto Apartments are a great place to live and meet new people. They are safe, affordable, and come with great amenities. If you are single, I would recommend finding a roommate. This will only bring down your monthly expenses further.
